Our ECO Policy: Offsetting the Footprint of Every Flight

A Responsibility We Take Seriously

Private aviation is, by its nature, a carbon, intensive way to travel. We have never believed in pretending otherwise. What we do believe in is taking genuine, measurable steps to reduce the impact of every journey we arrange.

That is why Beaumont Aviation operates a formal ECO policy: a share of the profit from every charter we book is donated to CO₂ emissions charities and carbon offset organisations. It is not an optional add, on, and it is not a marketing afterthought. It is built into how we do business.

How the ECO Policy Works

For each completed charter, we set aside a percentage of our brokerage profit, not your charter fee, and direct it to vetted organisations working on carbon reduction and removal. The contributions are allocated across three areas:

  • —Verified carbon offsetting, funding certified projects that remove or avoid CO₂ emissions, from reforestation and peatland restoration to direct air capture
  • —Emissions charities, supporting non, profits dedicated to tackling aviation emissions and advancing cleaner air travel
  • —Sustainable aviation research, helping accelerate the development of sustainable aviation fuel and more efficient aircraft

We partner only with organisations whose impact is independently audited, so every donation translates into real, accountable carbon reduction rather than vague promises.

Why Profit, Not a Surcharge

We deliberately chose to fund our ECO policy from our own profit rather than passing the cost to you as a surcharge. The decision to fly private is already a considered one, and we believe the responsibility to offset should sit with us, the broker, not be quietly added to your invoice.

It also means that the more flights we arrange, the more we give back. Our growth and our environmental contribution are linked, by design.

Offsetting Is a Floor, Not a Ceiling

We are clear, eyed about this. Carbon offsetting is not a substitute for reducing emissions in the first place. It is a meaningful, immediate step, but it is only part of the answer.

Alongside our donation programme, we work to reduce emissions wherever we can in practice:

  • —Right, sizing the aircraft, sourcing the smallest, most efficient jet that genuinely fits the mission, rather than upselling
  • —Empty leg optimisation, matching repositioning flights to real demand so fewer aircraft fly empty
  • —Single, leg routing, planning direct routes and minimising unnecessary positioning flights
  • —Sustainable aviation fuel, prioritising operators offering SAF blends where available on your route

Our Commitment, in Plain Terms

When you charter through Beaumont Aviation, you are travelling with a brokerage that puts a portion of its own earnings toward offsetting the carbon cost of your flight. You fly. We give back. The organisations we support do the work of drawing that carbon down.

It will not solve the climate challenge on its own, and we would never claim it does. But it is an honest, funded, ongoing commitment, and it is the least a responsible broker can do.
